Abstract:The "Ayi Azhi" of Liangshan Yi regions and the "Wulu Nuoji" of Northwest Yi regions of Guizhou Province, both of them are long folk narrative poems and are used for wedding occasions singing.At present, the study has involved some about "Ayi Azhi", but has not referred to "Wulu Nuoji" and the comparative study for the two poems.Through a comparative study of these two long narrative poems from three different perspectives, namely, the heroine's identity, background, theme and program,his paper finds that although these two long narrative poems of Yi nationality come from different regions, they show some striking similarities and obvious differences.
