There is a relatively greater amount of rural surplus labor force in Liangshan Prefecture.In recent years a population of 200,000 has transfered to manufacture and service industries in towns and cities and got better incomes.However,the proportion of this transfered part in the total surplus labor force is relatively small.Meanwhile,the poor education,vocational skills and competitive strength of the rural labor force also hinder its own transference.By my investigation into this issue,this paper analyses the characteristics and problems of the transference of surplus rural labor force in minority region and offers some corresponding solutions.Furthermore,this papar suggests that education and vocational training programs for rural labors be carried out,and government's service,administration and guidance for them be enforced to reduce the risk of labor transference,hence,encouraging and advancing the transference of rural surplus labor force in Liangshan minority region.
