The inheritance and dissemination of free and flexible folk songs have evolved from the original state of word of mouth and a few text records to today′s digital intelligent media. The spreading methods and ways of folk songs are con- stantly changing. The preservation in the form of audios and videos facilitates the spread and inheritance of folk songs, and text is a major supplementary means for folk song recording. However, the contemporary value folk songs has stayed intact with influences on new fields of such causes as education and cultural inheritance, history and era creation, and regional cultural creation.
