Abstract:Graduates from application-oriented universities are required to be creative and entrepreneurial to meet various professional requirements. Consequently, the undergraduate education should adapt to social reality and train students to apply theory to practice. In this context, all major teaching elements in foreign literature course should be integrated and employed, the heuristic, interactive and cooperative teaching modes should be adopted, and a more scientific and pluralistic evaluation system should be introduced, so as to accomplish the goal of educating application-oriented talents.
