Nowadays,“Henjia（恨嫁）”,as a cantonese dialect word, is widely used in our society. After used in mandarin, its meaning has changed a lot by expanding its usage and narrowing the scope of its meaning. We believe that this is related to the contact between dialect and mandarin. The similarity between“Henjia（恨嫁）”and“Panjia （盼嫁）”gives rise to the change of“Henjia（恨嫁）”in order to strengthen its competitiveness.
