Abstract:As a new mode of tourism, low-carbon tourism is an upgraded form of eco-tourism and a crucial means for achieving sustainable development of tourism. In the present research, current development and existing problems of wetland parks in Liangshan Prefecture are analyzed, while the realization approaches for low-carbon tourism in wetland parks are illustrated from the perspectives of tourism planning, improvement of tourists' and practitioners' low-carbon consciousness as well as governmental support and participation, for the purpose of guiding people to transform traditional mass tourism into low-carbon tourism with low energy consumption and emission.
