Feng Yansi,a writer of Ci in South Tang Dynasty,is a crucial representative in that transition period.Ci started from Tang Dynasty,and became popular in Song Dynasty.Feng Yansi’s works lie in the middle period,which own strong tragic spirit and misery conscience,and serve as a connecting link between the preceding Huajian Ci in the end of Tang Dynasty and the following new works in Song Dynasty.It can be analyzed from three aspects:Feng’s works characteristics,the differences between Feng’s works and those of Huajian School represented by Wen Wei,he influences of Feng’s works.
