Interpretation teaching in mainland China began in the 1970s.Since then,interpretation teaching has been improved day by day,but it's still at the exploratory stage.Generally speaking,it's not systematic and scientific enough and some common teaching methods also have some disadvantages.The author believes that interpretation teaching should adopt skill-based teaching model.According to constructivist learning theory,interpretation teaching should adhere to"student-centered"teaching philosophy.Teachers should guide learners to participate in a series of class activities and to build interpretation skills on their own initiative;meanwhile,students should develop autonomous learning ability and be independent in extra-curricular training of interpretation skills in order to compensate for the shortage of interpretation class.Finally,the author briefly introduces some other principles about interpretation teaching.
