In the history of contemporary Chinese literature,many writers pay more attention to female's sur- vival,producing countless work concerning the death of female.Factors leading to the female death in each peri- od are all different to some extent,thus the thesis expounds showing the similarities and differences about the female death on the basis of the contrast of Xiao Hong's and Fang Fang's works.
