Method and methodology are two different basic categories. Method attachs importance to collect and analyse data, however methodology pays attention to the study design or theory framework, and to popularize and communicate the study result. In comparative education, research method is a approch and means and way to carry out comparative education study. Methodology is a theory about research metohd of comparative edu-caiton, equal to discuss the ways of comparative educaiton study, namely the basic principle or attitude of comparative education study. Comparative education methodology relates to choose the method. Scientific method embodies the methodology and method to unify each other.
