As the spatial domain of promoting the exchanges，communication and fusion of all ethnic groups，the ethnic mixed communities aims to break through the social structural separation in the ethnic communication process and achieve benign interaction and joint development among different nationalities.Under the background of consolidating the sense of community for the Chinese nation， the exploration of governance path conforming to the development of ethnic mixed communities is of great significance in enhancing the modernization governance level of ethnic mixed community and accelerating the modernization construction pace in ethnic areas.From the perspective of holistic governance， researches of ethnic mixed community is arranged and the theoretical connotation of holistic governance is analyzed.A coupling relation has been found between the public demand oriented and coordination， integration and innovation guided idea of associated holistic governance by multi-entities and the value goals of communal governance with mixed ethnic groups.The logic mechanism of consolidating the sense of community for the Chinese nation through holistic governance of ethnic mixed community is analyzed to propose the holistic governance path of strengthening the leading role of grassroot Party branches，focusing on the economic construction of ethnic area，optimizing the dispute resolving mechanism and perfecting the modern governance system of communities，which provide effective realization method for ethnic mixed community to consolidate the sense of community for the Chinese nation.
