Ideological and political education in all courses is a powerful measure to implement the fundamental task of cultivating people with virtues， as well as a powerful tool to expand the depth and breadth of college courses. On the basis of reviewing the necessity and reality of ideological and political education in the courses of Chinese modern and contemporary literature， this paper analyzes the current situation and existing problems in the educational modes of Chinese modern and contemporary literature curriculum and discusses the practical path of ideological and political education in these courses from the perspective of their denotative and connotative significances， with a view to providing useful reference for the educational modes of ideological and political teaching in all courses of Chinese modern and contemporary literature.
