Abstract: Faced with the current situation of college English teaching reform and personalized learning features of filipped classroom, college English teachers have begun to explore and practice the flipped classroom teaching mode. The new teaching mode has brought new opportunities as well as challenges to college English teachers. As leaders and practitioners of the new teaching mode, only with fully understanding the essence of flipped classroom can college English teachers take effective measures to solve existing problems.
