Abstract:The wisdom of "no word" flourishes in Chinese Zen Buddhism ever since Huineng era, whether in the way of self-cultured enlightenment or guiding disciples. It allows followers to achieve wisdom by inner pietism without the misleading from words. "No words" of the Chinese Zen seems to have dissimilitude but actually similarities with logical positivism in exploring the development of philosophy and science which was put forward by Schlick in 20th century. This paper studies the differences between the Chinese Zen and logical positivism on transcending language for further understanding.
