Abstract:As a best-selling work, Tiny Times written by Guo Jjingming, a Chinese contemporary writer, is the product of consumption age. As to literary criticism it cannot be measured only by an imaginary standard, but should be combined with the characteristics of the times. TinyTimesreflects a true state of survival in the consumption era. This paper discusses the influence of consumer culture on Guo Jingming's novel Tiny Times, especially the unique youth’s sub culture, young men and women’s love and fashionable tendency in the consumption times.
