Abstract:The Ersu people are a Tibetan subfamily living in the southwest Sichuan province. In order to investigate the Ersu Tibetans' history and origins, the author has collected fairy tales, legends, and folktales. During the course of her research, she discovered that the Ersu Tibetan folk cuhure contains prominent geographical features, distinctive typological characteristics, and interesting cuhural anthropological properties.
