In the article of ＂Wen Xin Diao Long · Fenggu＂, Liu Xie discussed ＂Fenggu＂ from three parts： first, the proposition of the conception of ＂fenggu＂; second, the relationship among qi, all things related to air, cai, the rhetoric style and the literary grace, and fenggu, the meaning and diction of articles; third, the discussion of ＂fenggu＂ and new exquisiteness. The overall outlook of the article ＂Fenggu＂ was restored, and the conception of fenggu, qi, cai and newness were explained in this essay, according to the said three parts.
