Emphasis on knowledge of literature history,as well as ignoring the text-reading is a defect in foreign literature teaching.This paper,taking Madame Bovary for example,seeks to explore the text-reading in foreign literature in the class practice.This paper proposes three specific text-reading paradigms:the case studies with text-reading for support,western literature theories combination of close reading and attention to detail as the entry point to read.
