Abstract:With the constant deepening of China's reform and opening up and speeding up of the urbanization process,a special and vulnerable group has appeared and been widely concerned by all social circles,it is just the left-behind children in rural areas.Because of the absence of family education and the lack of emotional support,the left-behind children in rural areas are prone to have a range of psychological problems.Need is an unbalanced state within the organism,and it's a fundamental driving force of individual activities.If need can't be effectively met,it will be bad for the healthy growth of individuals,and even bring some psychological problems.In this paper,the author takes Maslow's need theory as the theoretical basis to analyze the needs of the left-behind children in the rural areas,and if their needs can't be met,what effect they will bring to the left-behind children,and thus to analyze the formation of the internal causes of their psychological problems,and try to give some related advice to deal with their psychological problems.
