This paper tries to analyze an allegory ＂The Gentlemen of the Jungle＂ by Public of Kenya＇s first president Kenyatta from the postcolonial perspective,and finds that the allegory overthrows the ＂other＂ image of Orientalism and demonstrates intense national culture and national liberation thought.
