Verbs constitute the core of English sentences.It is instructive for English learners to study the grammatical meanings.This paper intends to make a comparison of the grammatical features between the stative verbs and dynamic verbs which are often confused,that is to say,the comparison of a state and an action,so that a further study of the lexical meaning and the progressive aspect between them will be carried out.
