In the sixties of the last century,the generative phonology came into being,initiating the new stage of the phonological research.In the seventies,the non-linear phonology was advanced,making the representation more concrete.Since the eighties,diverse phonological theories have been presenting a splendid sight.The arising of contemporary phonoligical theories promotes the study of sound pattern deeply and enriches the theoretical linguistics widely.
