Prototype theory is an important issue in Cognitive Linguistics.It claims that the status of mem- bers of a category is unequal and members occupying central status are prototypes.Grammatical categories also have their prototype and the use of prototype theory in grammar teaching is helpful in reducing students' lan- guage anxiety.
