Many scholars have believed that the word of "Te" in the verse of "Bai fu zhi te" should be explained as "Outstanding" since the Song Dynasty.However,there is sufficient evidence proving that the proper explanation of "Te" is "Match",and we will point out the origin and abuses of the error.
