The Communist Party of China (CPC) has attached great importance to youth work since its inception. General Secretary Xi Jinping, focusing on the overall situation of the development of the Party and the country’s endeavors and accurately controlling the laws of Party’s youth development in the new era and the new journey, made the scientific assertion in the report of the twentieth CPC National Congress that “the Party as a whole should make youth work a strategic task.” In the new era, the Party should take this as a fundamental guideline to strengthen youth work, and grasp three points of focus: first, to arm young people with the Party’s scientific theories, and accelerate the cultivation of youth theoretical arming work teams, play the role of new media in theoretical arming work, strive to build a strong position for youth theoretical arming work, and improve the institutional mechanism for youth theoretical arming work in the implementation of the four aspects of the work; second, to call on young people with the Party’s original heart and mission, specifically, the Party’s original heart and mission, and the Party’s original heart.
