Monster Love, a collection of children's poems by contemporary Australian female poet Jeri Kroll, focuses on women's innate maternal thought and describes their personal feelings during pregnancy, childbirth and child rearing. From the perspective of the origin and stimulation of maternal thought, we analyze and interpret her poems Quickening and At 24 Weeks, and explore the representations of maternal thought in her poems.
