| 在众多的彝族史诗中，《支格阿鲁》是一部杰出的英雄史诗，具有深刻的文化内涵和重要的价值，从彝族英雄史诗的文学普遍现象并参照其它史诗来看，这部史诗既有史诗的一般性特征，即内容十分古老、族群集体创作、充满神话色彩、富有神圣性及口传性，又有其独特性，即历史特殊性、创世性、文化英雄和理想化的人物等。史诗以叙事诗的形式讲述了远古英雄支格阿鲁的勇敢正义、反对邪恶、和平友爱等形象特征。 |

| Of all the epics of Yi people, Zhige Alu is respected as an outstanding epic masterpiece bearing profound cultural connotation and significance. The epic, if viewed as a common phenomenon in literature and referred to other epics, has some most common attributes in that it hasa very old content, co-composed by ethnic groups, strongly featured with mythology, sacrality and specific historicity, which were orally spread along with its ethnical and ideal heroes. The epic depicts an ancient hero Zhige Alu as the epitome of courage, integrity, peace, and love. |
