Abstract:The improvement of citizens'' legal literacy is an important starting point for comprehensively promoting the rule of law,and it is also an inevitable requirement for building a country,a government,and a society with the rule of law.In the new era,the cultivation of application-oriented talents in engineering majors should break through the traditional mode of training talents with single professional knowledge.On the contrary,it should respond to the requirements of new engineering construction by setting the goal of cultivating interdisciplinary talents as a transformation and innovation of teaching methods.Taking the engineering majors of an application-oriented university in S Province as the survey object, this paper conducts empirical research on its application-oriented talent training concept,talent training plan, faculty quality and students'' academic situation,analyzes the problems and reasons in the cultivation of legal literacy of engineering students,and constructs an effective legal literacy training path for engineering majors.
