Abstract:The construction of textbook is essentially the right of the state, which is the basis of education to achieve the purpose of moral education. Under the guidance of textbook''s moral educational function, based on the ESP teaching theory, and by using research methods of interview and questionnaire, this paper introduces the ESP teaching team of Sichuan Conservatory of Music to investigate the students'' needs for ESP. On the basis of this investigation, the ESP textbooks of Sichuan Conservatory of Music are constructed. In order to ensure the practicability of the textbooks, the ESP teaching team put the textbook in several rounds of teaching practice, and put forward some suggestions on ESP teaching according to the problems found in the teaching practice, which can be used as reference for ESP teaching in similar colleges and universities in China.
