Through a survey of 1,500 college students using Tik Tok in Hefei City, we learned about the impact of Tik Tok on the ideological and political education of college students from four levels: the contents, technology, forms and operation of Tik Tok. Tik Tok misleads college students′ thoughts, consumes college students′ willpower, and restrains college students′ cognition. Based on the analysis of its existing problems and causes, this paper proposes to innovate the path of ideological and political education by improving the supervision mechanism, taking up platforms on Tik Tok, improving its media literacy, innovating its contents and forms, and using accurate recommendation technology, etc.
