The century since the founding of the Communist Party of China is a period of the Party leading Chinese people to constantly fight against poverty and move towards a well-off society. From the unprecedented anti-poverty battles of o- verthrowing the " three mountains" and carrying out the " agrarian revolution" during the new democratic revolution, to the revolutionary anti-poverty endeavors of winning the " rural land reform" and building " modern industry" during the social- ist revolution and construction, then to the vigorous anti-poverty efforts of initiating reform and opening up policy and real- izing a rapid economic growth during the socialist modernization construction, finally to the spectacular anti-poverty un- dertaking of targeted poverty alleviation with the contribution of the whole nation, which successfully open up a poverty al- leviation path with Chinese characteristics. The Communist Party of China led Chinese people to achieve a great victory in the anti-poverty struggle and built a well-off society in an all-round way. The hundred years′ experience of the Commu- nist Party of China in the fight against poverty mainly includes as follows: firstly we should always adhere to the leadership of the Communist Party of China as the fundamental guarantee of the fight against poverty; then we should put the people as the center as the fundamental foothold of the anti-poverty struggle; last but not least, we should take the current na- tional conditions into consideration to ensure the success in the fight against poverty.
