According to the guiding spirit of the Fifth Central Conference on Work for Ethnic Affairs, the construction of the rule of law of the Chinese nation community is closely linked with the strengthening of the sense of community for the Chinese nation. It is of vital importance to explore the corresponding practice of rule of law on the basis of Xi Jinping's thought on rule of law and Marxist theory of multi-ethnic state construction. First, we can build the community of shared future of rule of law which holds the coordination of the standard of rights and the standard of obligation. Second, we should uphold the leadership of the CPC to promote the progress of rule of law in the governance of ethnic affairs. Third, we need to comprehensively deepen the practice of the rule of law by taking legislation, law enforcement and judicature as an overall plan. Fourth, legal education can be used as a medium to consolidate the common spiritual home of rule of law. In short, the community of shared future of rule of law is a modern model optimized by the Chinese nation for the progress of human history, and the rule of law provides an institutional and practical basis for strengthening of the sense of commu- nity for the Chinese nation, demonstrating the balance between the “rule of law and the rule of ethics” against the back- drop of rule of law.
