Abstract:In the era of intelligent media, news value has witnessed significant changes, reflected mainly in its four aspects: practicality, importance, interest and interaction. News value is represented mainly by user's needs, and understanding the relationship between news value and users can help us adapt to intelligent news media communication. In this paper we develop a value relationship model based on a directly proportional relationship between news value and audience feedback, and use users' needs to represent the value of news. We use Matlab technique to gather news data from the "Recommended" column of the Cover News app from July 1, 2019 to July 31,2019, and analyze the value and strategy for news sending from three aspects: time for user needs, contents needed and needs preference, aiming to promote a sustainable development of news information in the era of intelligent media.
