Sunstone represents as existence of both time and space. Through analysis of Paz's treatment of the space-time art in his lyrics, we could further explore Paz's space-time poetics. With aspect of time, he believes it is cyclical, and his time has double meanings: one is common and perceptible, and the other is uncommon and mythical. With aspect of space, he believes human beings and the universe are mutually perceptible. To break the constraints of space and time, the poet uses strategies of spatial conversion of time and temporal conversion of space in his treatment of space-time relationship, i.e., the space and time in his poems are mutually convertible and representable.
