Both Chinese and Greeks have their own civilizations and have made unique contributions to such areas as astronomy, calendar system, architecture, philosophy, a genealogy of the gods, epic，tragedy，music, painting, medicine and the humanities. A comparative study on Zizinizha and Medea can allow us to see the similarities and differences of the ordinary Chinese Yi people and the ancient Greek revenging women, and to find out the cultural background, national consciousness and social significance of both Chinese ethnic Yi communities and ancient Greek society, and help to have a rethinking of the issue of women.
