Abstract:Literature is not only a kind of cultural representation, but also valuable intelligence resources.Aku Wuwu is a poet of the Yi ethnic minority who writes in the Nuosu dialect of the Yi language and Chinese.He believes that the whole world is a big family, and every nationality is an inseparable member of that family. In his intellectual imagining of One World,he has fostered cosmopolitan dispositions.Aku Wuwu displays the openness toward other cultures. He also engages in ongoing reflexive dialogues between his own cultural affiliations and Native American culture. By analyzing the content of Aku Wuwu's cosmopolitanism thoroughly, this thesis hopes to cast light on the contemporary significance of Aku Wuwu' Coyote Traces.
