Affix is not only a hot topic in the study of Chinese history, but also one of the most controversial issues. There are two main controversies: the first is the connotation of concept and the standard of judgment, and the second is the judgment of specific cases. The Examination and Correction of Mid-ancient Chinese Affixes has re-examined the core issues of Chinese affix research based on the two controversial points.
