As an important tool for poverty alleviation, the yi embroidery industry can enhance the hematopoietic ability in Xiaoliangshan area, bring economic benefits for the special cultural products ,let the people in the yi district eat travelling food, take off their poor hats and live a good life. This paper analyzes the status and characteristics of the yi embroidery industry in the new village, reviews the existing problems from the perspective of tourism poverty alleviation and puts forward some suggestions on the development path for the yi embroidery industry
