Worship for Mountain God is the base of the Yi People's worship for nature in Tanhua Mountain. The Mountain God is not only the earliest God of local Yi People, but also the first God in their ancestors' eyes. Worship for Mountain God is a kind of traditional modes of worship, which is different from the worship of nature and different from also totem worship. However, it is still not the strict religion belief, which combines the divinity and secularity to build well-balanced and ordered rules, and the harmonious relationship with nature.
