Abstract:In undergraduate course teaching, proper chatting with intentions and full preparations can arouse students' interests and keep their effective and continuous learning, can expand students' knowledge horizon and adjust their knowledge structures; and meanwhile can help students effectively realize and memorize related knowledge. When teaching, the chatting contents should have direct or indirect relationship with the teaching knowledge; should be time-based and can arouse students' interest. Still, teachers should also provide proper comments on the chatting, and inspire response among students. The time of chatting should be controlled in proper length. The chatting is an art in undergraduate course teaching. Only with accumulation of time and experiences, the chatting abilities of university teachers will become mature, and the actual results of chatting will get full exhibitions.
