The narrative structure of ancient Chinese autobiography can be divided into five categories according to its relevance to narrative time: longitudinal penetrating narrative structure, horizontal layout narrative structure, crisscrossing narrative structure, question and answer narrative structure and contrast narrative structure. The narrative structure of ancient Chinese autobiography, is not only a question of form, but can also reflect the different types of ancient Chinese autobiography writing motivation and the Styles of writing.
