Nowadays the informationization of teaching has become a breakthrough of teaching methods. Multimodal teaching theory has been developed with the matureness of multimedia technology. Based on the multimodal teaching theory, this article analyzes the shortages of multimedia teaching used in the professional English class for students majored in flight attendant, and provides some corresponding suggestion to these shortages through a case study.
