Abstract:Abstract: The research group takes life-based composition teaching in junior high school in southwest Yi nationality area as the research object to investigate the situation of the life-based composition teaching in some schools in Yi Ethnic Area, Southwest China. The survey finds out that junior high school students' life-based composition in Yi nationality area has common problems in language, material, conception, thinking and other aspects. There are also problems of teachers like teaching concepts backward, improper teaching methods in the writing teaching activities and so on. Based on the analysis of these problems, this paper puts forward the strategies and methods to solve these problems.
