Abstract: With the popularity of "Chinese fashion", scholars who study problems in new words translation of TCSL (Teaching Chinese as a Second Language) are increasing year by year. However, there are only very few research results on problems in new words translation of Chinese teaching materials for Japan. This paper will take My Chinese Classroom, which is the most widely used Chinese teaching material for Japan, as an example. First, it will contrast and analyze the research status on problems in new words translation of Chinese teaching materials for Japan at home and abroad. Then, it will collect and classify the problems in new words translation in this teaching material. Finally, the paper will list the causes of the formation of problems in new words translation and put forward the corresponding solutions.
