The Sukhavati Thought is popular in Song Dynasty, but Huang Tingjian wasn’t interested in it. Whereas he was interested in Maitreya Thought which the rulers were hostile to. The reason was Huang Tingjian believed the thought of Zen and the realism of Confucian School.
