The research-based teaching has the characteristics of being interactive, exploratory, autonomous and practical. The nature of the college ideological and political theory course decides the importance of the research-based teaching. If the research-based teaching is adopted in the teaching of ideological and political theory in colleges and universities, the students will become the main body of teaching activities, their learning enthusiasm will be excited by the transformation from the original passive learning to active learning, while the teachers play a role in organizing the class and guiding the students. They guide students to gather information by questions, organize students to analyze, discuss and conclude, so as to train the students' ability in all aspects, to hetp them form a correct understanding of the theory，and to improve the teaching effectiveness of ideological and political theory course.
