Based on the critical explanation of traditional theory about Mills' Sociological Imagination, the paper introduces Mills' academic background. At the same time, the author summarizes Mills' self-reflective consciousness about traditional critique and academic study. At last, the author gives some views about Mills' works and scholarship and hopes to have some value
