There are not only unique religious and cultural identities in Yi’s Bimo religious rituals of Liangshan, but also some irreplaceable educational contents and functions. Yi people in Liangshan can preserve and enrich the collective memory of the village, enhance the cohesion among the members of Yi society, and inherit Yi’s traditional culture through particpating in these religious activities
