This paper,by comparing Shen Fu,the hero in Six Chapters of a Floating Life,with his father and with his younger brother,analyzes the main male characters＇ unique personalities and images.It is intended to give an insight into the men＇s human nature and their psychological complexity in the feudal society from different perspectives and further perceive and grasp the aesthetic significance and social value of Six Chapters of a Floating Life.
