The theory of clausal pivot represents the tendency of study on grammar of Chinese,so it is adopted as the basis to analyze the judgment sentences in archaic Chinese in the paper where the relationship between the syntax and meanings of judgment clauses in compound sentences is focused to boost the development of sentence pattern teaching.
